i thought we'd be the only crazy people decorating on thanksgiving night, but several of our neighbors threw the switch this weekend, too, which is awesome. i am in full-on christmas mode. above is our enormous 7.5 foot christmas tree. if we move, we'll have to find a house with either cathedral ceilings or a covered porch to put this up every year. (yeah, it's a fakey. it's just easier.)happy holidays everyone. take a moment, like my good friend jan, to remember all the reasons you have to be thankful and happy this season. i am so grateful for all of the loving people in my life. past and present.
